What to Expect

We’re glad you’re interested in attending one of our church services. Here’s what to expect when you arrive and some information to help make your visit more enjoyable.

What time do I need to arrive?

We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the event you are attending so you can park and make your way into the appropriate building.

8:45am – Contemporary Service
9:30am –  Small Group Study
10:45am – Worship Service
5:00pm – Choir  Rehearsal
6:00pm – Evening Worship

6:00pm – AWANA
6:00pm – Pastor Pat’s Bible Study
All Wednesday Activities end at 7:30pm

What should I wear?

We have people in coat and tie, in jeans and t-shirt, and everywhere in between. Our desire is to worship God and believe it’s the attitude of our hearts, rather than our physical appearance, that matters to God.

Where do I park?

We have some parking spots designated for “Visitors,” but if they are full, park anywhere you want. Guests with preschoolers and school age children are encouraged to park close to awning in South parking lot to be near our children’s classes.

What will my children do while I’m in the Worship Service?

Children are important at First Baptist. A clean, well-staffed and secure nursery is available for babies & toddlers during all services. We have Sunday School/Bible Study classes for all ages.

Children’s Worship is available during our morning worship service for children in K4 through 4th Grade.

When you arrive at First Baptist, our volunteers will be happy to help you locate the appropriate classes and activities for your children.

Where do I sit?

You can sit wherever you feel comfortable in our Worship Center, from the front row on the main floor to the back row. If you have difficulty locating a seat, our ushers are available to assist you.

What style of music is used in your Worship Services?

Our worship services have a good mix of favorite hymns and modern worship songs led by our Minister of Music, Choir and Worship Musicians.
